    Hello!

Netfirms has a nice promo on their domains $7.00 for first year with private registrations.. so before buying from them anyone have experience with them? How is their after sales support? I'll probably get my host from them too.

sadly moniker.com and name.com doesnt have those, and namecheap only got it free for first year. I limited my options to ones with free private registrations.

    Thank you.

I use Netfirms on some sites. If you need consistent 24-7 up time, the go somewhere else. They are down right now. They seem to go down for a couple hours every couple weeks. Its annoying.

As far as the domain from one and hosting from another, I agree completely. I used to do both with the same company. For some reason someone decided to report my site as infected or phishing or something(it wasn't) anyway the company I used completely locked me out of my account. Over the phone they told me if I was doing something shady they couldn't have me log on and delete files while under investigation. All they left up on my site was an error page. If I had access to my domain, I could have pointed it somewhere else and threw up a message to my visitors or just uploaded all the files and put the site up at a different host. After 3 days of getting no answers from my host at all, they put my site back up and told me there was nothing wrong with my site(No Apology of course).
