netfirms.com hosting scam?

    Hello everyone, as i mentioned before i am planning on starting a project, so i was trying to find a good hosting plan for me. And i found netfirms.com i even found a coupon. Now look at the total price, is this some kind of mistake? :confused:

    Anyone can explain me please? Why is it so cheap? Or anyone dealed with netfirms?

    It is called marketing. They are expecting the customers to stay more than a year, thus they will eventually make more money in the long run.

    yea. You pay $10 for first year but after that you continue to stay with them and you end up paying $10 a month. same with all hosting company.

    you mean statistics? like visitor count and that stuff? If yes,you can use google analytics, perfect analogue imo :)

    i have a netfirms hosting ..take my suggestion its not that good allthough u get 2 tld domain name+200gb space+2000gb bandwidth its pretty slow .
    you can reduce the price to 10$ by entering coupon code. i wish i had that coupon ..

    jhn2001 so you don't recommend it? loading time is slow you say? that confuses me, some say it is pretty good others say negative ... how is it then?

    I have the same deal. I am very pleased and will continue using them. check my site (in my sig) to sample loading time. I find it as fast as any other.
