I registered 4 domains 3 days ago with netfirms, there was a special offer going on as they were celebrating 25 yrs of there hosting business. They were selling domain names for only 1 dollar. They required identity proof and i sent my national voter card and they confirmed only 2 domains. And today i refunds in my paypal account saying that 2 of the domains are cancelled. Why do big companies like them do this kind of stuff. And there was no reason mentioned why this wa done. I wrote an email to them and haven't got any reply!
Have you tried to contact them? I suppose first you need to get in touch with them and let us know what they reply for you.
Same thing happened with me Its sad , now i'll re registering the same domain on name.com , will be getting google apps for free
Well i din get any reply from them, as soon as i get the reply i will post it here! I actually signed in for 4 2 were confirmed and the other 2 were not, Netfirms is in the business for 25 long years, they should mention it, If only 1 registration per account, CC, or paypal account, it should be mentioned in the T.C's of the offer.
First of all, Netfirms is not celebrating 25 years in business but 25 years or COM release. Secondly, offer clearly said one domain per account and was limited until the price was changed to $3.99 past week. This statement was placed in small print below the offer price.
Even if they (netfirms) run an offer of $0,50 per domain will never buy a domain name for them. Just remember register domain names with well known registrar is better to work like this even if you have to pay more (if you care for your online business).
lol even i was wondering how the heck can netfirms be in business for 25 years when their own domain is registered in 1998
my friend had same problem he said he called via skype to them and now domains are verfied. try to call them may be problem get solved
same happens to me, then netfirms sent refund to my paypal account, only 1 domain still active, and I have to transfer to new netfirms account.
You're lucky. I heard one of my friend registered 6 domains without any problem. I think netfirms.com changed rules.
