Netfirms? Any good?

    Netfirms has $4.95 domains (renewal = $9.95 and limit of 5). Has anyone used them? Are they any good?

    I have a friends who uses their netfirms.com/max deal $10 per year) and he says its great.

    I've never heard of it.
    I usually stay away from companies that are not reputable.

    i've used them and no. they are really not worth your time or money. and they'll manage to waste both for you.

    They have terrible customer service. They reply in 5 days, if they want. If they don't they forget it.
    Also their credit card authorization sucks. They have declined my chase platinam(after approving first), that I am using for the last 5 years.
    Don't try unless you want to be harrassed.

    My sites hosted on there and every things fine. Their customer service is slow via e-mail (2-3 days) but can get through quick and they are helpful via telephone.

    Not bad overall i'd say.
