    I'm a big fan of my Sony Vaio, and don't want to switch it... tempted to buy a cheap desk top however to use Linux with, as don't want to change the OS on my lap top till I have got the hang of Linux and what it has to offer

    I'm currently using an Eee PC 901, and as much as I like it, there's no way I could ever use it to do any real work on. It's brilliant for checking email and just surfing the interwebs - but I'll always need a full size desktop for work.
