Netbanking and ebay.com....is it possible to buy from India?

    Hi guys,
    Is it possible to buy an item from ebay.com (not ebay.in) and paying to a seller who is accepting paypal. I don't have a credit card but have netbanking activated...So is it possible to connect my paypal and netbanking in some way?

    In short is there any way to pay the seller without a credit card ? :confused:

    You can't pay to anybody using net banking through paypal.

    Thanks deluxdon :) You mean to say that Indians need to have a cc to buy from ebay.com, right?

    Yes Credit Card is must for Indians to use Paypal outside India.

    Just now, from Dilon's thread, I came to know that we can even attach our debit cards (atm cum debit cards)...Hope it works for me :) ..

    Well, I use my virtual credit card generated via debit card of HDFC to buy things from ebay.com without any hassle. :)

    Does HDFC create an international VCC?? SBI creates a domestic one which can only be used with Indian merchants..(i think Nepal and Bhutan as well)..

    Yes, it depends upon the debit card you select. Mine is International and so it works on each and every site where CC is accepted. Works fine even with PP.

    The only option if you don't have credit card is follow GlobalEasyBuy from ebay.in
