Net4India - any reviews?

Net4India seems to be one of the largest hosting companies in India, and many large companies have registered their domains with them. I have also read some not so good things about them. Has anyone used their services personally? Any feedback will help.

    Thanks

one of my client registered domains.

and he sent me CRNID, password (login to control panel) to unbind account form a reseller, and change whois info. Trust me, we have got the most worst experience in 2009.

To change whois info takes min.24 hours, to change nameservers 4-6 hours, customer support- all generic messages and close ticket without asking whether problem is solved or not.

Ive been reseller of theirs for many years. 3-4 years ago they had bad customer support and problem on email side but now is on of best. Most of the companies dont give you 24 hours telephone support also have a dedicated reseller support. I have 340 domains half with net4domains, now Im moving others also to them becos of new dashboard on control panel, its much better than any I have seen and Ive been designing websites for 11 years.

You can see some reviews here and here

My client has very horrible experience with them. Even without any reason they keep my client domain status: clientTransferProhibited. After requesting several times they unlocked finally after 7-8 days. He wanted to change registrar email address and did change from net4 control panel. Net4 infrom them that 24 hours will take (Basically they do it manually after doing some changes and once you do modify you camnot use the same form again as it says "under process"), after 48 hours no result, opened support ticket, and after 60-70 hours, they unblocked "under process" message but did not make any changes, while my client again opened ticket and ask the reason they said that you have not cross checked with old email- what a pain! even they did not inform why they did not change. while we ask the reason then they replied. that means if you change anything now then again wait for 48 hours!

honestly, I must say my experience also (my client told me to call them several times on behalf of them) is very bad.

We will move that domain after few days don't know what will happen at the time of migration

WHY net4india? use godaddy or hostgator. Hostgator is my choice.
