thanks for the response Five-0. I'll be going with .net for the site I'm buying and probably pick up the .us extension just cause its available.
I think that it's the right choice. The .us ext hasn't taken off yet, but it's good and cheap to have it.
Definitely .net. .us isn't even popular in the US, and outside of the US it's completely dead. .net is not as good as .com, but it is used worldwide as a second choice site after .com, and many top websites are .net's.
Depends, if your domain will sound likw: PhotosWith.us , PhotosWith.com doesn't have the same meaning... If you only think for a generic name, go for .net Good luck!
Depends on your targeted audience, but unless you are a business that only does business within the USA, .net is by far better.
I'm doing well with my .us's. They're great if you sell products only within the US, since it's much easier to find good available words as .us's rather than .net's, which are more rare.
The .net is commercially a better choice, and you can attach privacy to a .net, which isn't possible with .Us domains.
HI The .net just because it has be much longer then the .us The .us is nice if you live in the usa and I think you need to live in the usa to reg a .us (I know you can if you dont but you should) Thanks Tom Dahne
