hi guys, i'm one step of purchasing a new domain name and just wondering what's more strategic and the matter of keeping either one domain extension. Sometimes .net isn't that efficient like .org. what do you think? every each intelligent tip would be deeply appreciated! thank you!
I think it really depends what your site is about. For instance if it is an educational or informative site then a .org would be more appropriate. I feel .net sites are more community type site. Just my humble opinion, hope that helps.
.org sounds more official, but most people will go with the net first. I've registered over 300 domains and the net is almost always taken while the org may be still available. For what it's worth I've had more luck with the org extension when it comes to SEO and if both are available I tend to go with the org, however sometimes I'll register both and optimize it for another searchengine.
I prefer .org in most cases but for seo services I thnk .net would be better. It would be better to find a new .com name though.
If you're interested to buy .com you may try out checking with expired domain name, there are chances to get one which might be most appropriate to your business.
What you mean unefficient compare to .org? Actually,both the major domain exension is having same efficiency. Its only how you make use/promote the domain.
well, if you are trying to creating a some sort of network, then go .net. basically,.org is meant for small organization.

if you're going to be making a site for SEO services, it's going to look very bad to not have a .com.
If the site is neither a organization and/or local I'll defintly go for: 1. .com 2. .net 3. .info 4. .biz 5. .org
I would go for .Org, base on my note. .org seems to show higher than .net when you think of SEO term, .org can hold its pr longer. When you have .org domain, google seems to give a lot of credit. To me: .Com .Org .Net .Info .Us
.org is better... you ever seen porn on .org? if you have, I'd say that's far less likely than porn on .net.. .org has stronger seo value

Many people say .org is better than .net but many people do not agree. What finally matter is content and site promotion.
.org looks trustable its funny u are asking to choose .net or .org if i am developing seriously i simply take both if i am not having .com
