.Net or .Com!!!!!

I have been into domain selling and buying from 2 months now....
I brought some good more than 60 .com domains and listed some more than a 50 .Net domains to purchase.

Please advise me when compared to .com, how easy is it to sell a .Net domain?
Or let me ask otherwise....

Is it advisable to invest in .Net domains to sell?

Those .Net domains which I listed very good with popular keywords and had good results in DomainTops and EstiBot.

.com trumps everything in most cases..

obv there are exceptions

 

i will recommend u to go for .com, since its the way or commercial pupose and lot of them looking for this

 

.com is like the standard domain, almost everyone try that first say they are looking for something like 'games' they would try games.COM before games.NET or some just search it in Google.

 

agree with previous posts. .com should be the first choice for any case.

 

.org is also popular now days

 

.com is a KING ... think twice before you buy / register .net unless the name is a 'killer' keyword, short domain (LLL or premium CVCV), one word domain or high PR domain (PR5+)

Ex: Money.com, is it a wise investment having Money.net?

 

Well, .com would certainly be a king of extensions but for me if you got the genuine and unique keyword for the domain name then it is not bad to go for .net extensions. i,e, blogs.net, hostingviews.net etc...Just think over it.

 

.com is far better than .net. Not sure I would trust a .net site like a .com. I usually associate .net sites with websites that probably wanted the .com but couldn't find one that is available. Maybe im wrong.

 

Of course everybody wants the .com as a first preference and they usually get snapped up, but when the keywords are really good then I think it's a good thing if I can at least get the .net - it's better than nothing at all...

 

Never ever use .net when .com is available.

 

Assuming "Money.net" was even available, of course, but that is a bad example since there are no killer keywords available like that anymore...you certainly aren't going to register any.

Also, if you are using Estibot as a source to determine the possible value of your domains, you really need to learn a little more.
There is nothing remotely accurate about Estibot.

 

Seiously you should first consider a .com and then only if u cant get a good one for for a .net

 

.com 's are the best and most popular domains. Then comes .net 's and then after .org 's

I think if you have good name than is better to buy .com, .net and org domain name in a same time if is free.

Oh, but now days .org are getting more and more popular though I would still personally take .net than .org. What do you think?

 

I prefer .com, but it depends on the site and the domain name.

The .com is actually the most known domain extension as my mom didn't even know that .org,.net,.info, and a lot more even existed, I always try my best to go for and find the best .COM domains
