Why when you remove .Net Framework does it take out files for printers? Is there anyway that you can remove them without having other problems. The reason why I want to remove it is I do not have to keep logging on everytime, when we are away from the computer for a time.
You seem really confused. The .NET Framework does not prompt you to login after your idle for a certain amount of time and does not remove printer drivers
I took out the .Net Framework & my printer would not scan or print. When I reinstalled it the log on screen came back & so did the scanning & printing. I found out the "if" you remove it from the add & remove & when you go back into the control panel, & go to users accounts the ASP.Net network icon goes missing, hence the log on screen also goes. My printer is a HP PSC 2510. When I contacted HP about it they informed me that it is possible that this may happen. They offered no insight into the fix as as they said the problem is with Microsoft.
