    How much cheapr are .net domains compared to .com nd how big is the disadvantage using an .net domain instead of .com?

    Same price. There is no disadvantage for now but perhaps in the future if domains are ever classified as intended a commercial site should go with .com to be safe... my thoughts anyway

    Personally I always think .net domain names sound good for technology type sites (I have one myself). I know that wasn't their original purpose, but since people talk of "the net" I think it sounds good.
