.net domain clarification..

    I would like to register a .net domain for a social organisation, bcos .org domain is not available. Is it fair to register a .net domain for an social organisation? Cos i believe that .net domains are registered for ISP (src:Wiki)...

    Not neccesary now many organizations even use .net now no one cares a lot abt the TLD

    those are old days to clarify wrt tlds :D .net works good :) lot of .info , .net cctlds are used for social organizations

    There is nothing you need to worry about when registering .net domain. There are thousands of social organizations using .com and .net domains for years

    I got .net domains and I am not and ISP, you should not worry about it, they can be used pretty much for anything you like.
