Hi , i want to register a Domain but someone already took that domain.Com . that site has pagerank 5 with a good Traffic . so question is if i make .net of that domain or .org ! then would it help my site for indexing in higher ranks too ? or then all my indexed pages will be lost in his site indexed links ??? then other question is which one is better : .net or .org ? Thanks
Trying to mimic your competitor's domain name will only get you a bad name. I doubt if you will gain credibility through such copy-ing!

you need to check whether the domain is trademark or not...if there is not TM you can register it..but you wont get automatically index as a high ranking. Its consider as new site where you need to do more promotion.
.org usually used for charity or non commercial sites. .net was originally designed for Internet companies. .com, .net, and .org are known as generic top level domains. so you are free to choose what ever you want to use as your domain..
I doubt they are a trademarked domain, usually they buy up all the domain names if that is the case. It does not matter SEO wise what domain extension you use, no extension gets more weight than another. The only time a extension can help is when its country domain name, which would help you rank better in country based searches.
thanks guys for asnwer .. .net of my favorite keywords r FREE and i can register . i just want to know that the .com of my domain that has pagerank 5 and high traffic would help me to get Traffic or then it makes my job so harder to get in higher rank positions in google ??
The .com you are talking has no connection whatsoever to what you are planning to do. If their niche is same, then yes they are better off because your .net will be a new domain and will take time to get in the SERPs. Other than, it doesn't matter if you go for a .info also.
It doesn't mather for the extension .... As for geting rankings backlinks you have to work for it ....
Its depends on content and industry of website, Though i will suggest .com because only with my-url.com when you enter only my-url in browser than it would be directly redirected to the http://www.my-url.com, while if u want to directly enter my-url.net than you have to press shift+enter, and for the Trust site, Gov. organization .org is the best to choose.
If you really, really want to buy the com, try to buy it from the owners. If that isn't possible, take the net and start working on your rankings.
