Norway August 28th, 2006 – Digimaker ,leading Content management software company today announced the release on their premium and most awaited 6.0 version, based on the Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework. Digimaker is seamlessly integrated with the 2.0 framework. Portal developers can use the power of .NET 2.0 and make solutions using the power of Master page, Web parts, Profile, Personalization and the host of goodies that the new framework provides. Also, this release will support SQL Server 2005.

In this release, developers can take advantage of the .NET 2.0 login controls, and use all the SiteBuilder SDK controls, with built in design time support. Taking SiteBuilder controls to the next level, Digimaker version 6.0 now provides rich design-time support for server controls in the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development environment. Developers can drag server controls from the Visual Studio .NET toolbox onto a page, access their properties through the Properties window, and take advantage of Microsoft IntelliSense statement completion.

The new release also comes along with a host of newly added functionality, such as new improved email campaign Engine, the improved WYSIWYG article editor with added functionality, article comments section, check in and check out functionality, search engine friendly URL, searching through the content of documents within Digimaker Document Management Library, complete audit trail on the backend as well as on the sitebuilder template controls, real time smart value list for developers, and also bulk upload and batch delete functionality. The company is also setting some revolution enhanced functionality on and above these to be released within a few weeks time.
