.NET and Outlook Contacts

The little piece of software that I develop needs to access Outlook contacts. Most of the guides rightfully point to Microsoft Outlook Object Library (see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=313802).

However, my question goes just a step beyond that. If I have Outlook 2003 installed on my developer's PC, will run the software on a bunch of PC that vary from Outlook 2000 to 2007 - do I need to worry about the version of the library? Would I be better off using version 10? 11? 9?

    Any ideas?

I'm leaning towards that as well, but just can't confirm that latest Outlook dll is backwards compatible to at least 2000.

Check on the msdn forums mate they are very very helpful.
