if i want to nest a keyword inside of another for example if i called my website freeze.com would i get the same seo advantages as if it was free.com? or does google and other search engines count this as one word?

its only exact that matters. custom blue widgets.com will rank better than custom blue widget.com for the term custom blue widgets

the URL is not the only place to have your main keywords! (though I'm sure you know that); if you target the rest of your site for 'free' rather than 'freeze' as in your example, then that will more likely do better for the former keyword. You can't nest a keyword without ever using it, search engines will look at the full word.
