Have you guys read or watched Neil Shearing's Auto Income Secrets? I have the ebook and I read it about a month ago but I have not started building the sites yet... I also have the videos... and now Neil's selling the resell rights to his ebook! Anyway, have you guys used his way of building AdSense sites? 1 more thing... I am particularly concerned about Neil's suggestion to use Article Bot. It seems like a "cleaner" version of Traffic Equalizer to me.
well if this guy is like joel comm they all suggest using these types of programs as they create mass pages of keywords,,,, although i dont believe anyone has stated that there adsense accounts were closed,,, but it takes a lot of energy and time to stay ahead of google from deindexing all of your pages... i think they say these guys have to constantly buy domain names and hosting accounts,, and they make a site or 2 a day,, because the sites only last a couple months max... so they try and get them indexed make the quick buck,, then google kicks them from the serps... rinse , wash and repeat..... I am not sure of all the names of the programs but I know that Google doesnt like Traffic Equalizer and Articlebot... It's amazing these supposed adsense guru's would even suggest people use them since they are short lived... but then again all they want you to do is buy their products , regardless if the sites are junk or considered spam by the webmaster communities or not
What do you think of when you say 'adsense guru' ? I personally think of someone who is making a lot of money from adsense. Many of the people many the big $$'s are using these types of techniques. Probably not on all their sites though. Forget about 2 sites per day, using the correct tools you could easily knock out 100 sites per day. If you want to make big money from ppc quickly it's the only way I can think of. It's by no means as stable as building 'proper' sites and as you say, you'd need to keep one step ahead of the Seach Engines all the time to keep making the money. As for google not liking TE or AB. That's probably not quite true. Google doesn't like masses of duplicate crap in general, and if you build lots of 'auto' sites with same templates that's exactly what you get -- lots of duplicate crap.
The articles created by article bot seem to look readable to humans... its only when you click on other articles on the sites that you find out they are almost identical!
yeah like i said i dont know much about them,, i just read that google is putting its foot down on TE and AB... I would think article bot would have other issues as far as copyright issues. TE basically is just a keyword farmer.. but Jlawrence makes a valid point,,, duplicate content is the real issue i think,,, but maybe you can change the templates or colors of the bg and text and it may change it enough to actually pass under the G-dar I have read posts from people making a few sites a day and knocking down 10-20k a month,, but then they go to say the life of te sites are 3-4 months max ( not sure how true that is) ,, i think the issue would be how fast you can get the sites pages indexed fast enough... and since I know nothing of BH techniques, I really am not qualified to say how quick you can start making money with the new sites,,, I would think 2-4 weeks before you would start generating some cash Please correct me if I am wrong,, this is just my opinion..lol
This is how I would look at it: The big deal is getting sites indexed quickly at least in the early days. You need money coming in so that you can take your time with others sites. 3-4 months site life is I believe pretty good (depending on the type of site). I believe that some of the so called BH techniques aren't really that black and can be used equally with WH sites. I've personally used some BH techniques for getting a site indexed and had lots of success - 20K page affiliate site fully indexed within 12 days. That site started earning money after only 7 days. From what I can gather, with AB sites, the idea is that there is no obvious route between pages. ie No navigation, therefore the users never see the other created pages. The only link on a page would be to the sitemap and that can be pretty well hidden so a normal user would be unlikely to find it. As you can probably gather, I find some of the BH techniques fasinating. Some are down right unethical - I don't like trackback or comment spam (for example), people spend hours putting good blogs online - defacing them with crappy spam links just isn't on (and neither is it necessary). The area of auto generated content has interested me ever since I ran irc channels and used to watch new users trying to have serious conversations with channel bots.
could you please explain what you mean with bh techniques and what are they about? it's not to try it.. but just to understand. i'm a newbie. thanks (also doc links are accepted)
BH (aka blackhat seo/sem) techniques are basically techniques that are frowned upon by the search engines. They are things like spamming links (comment spam, blog spam, trackback, referrer etc etc), auto-generated content, scrapped content, cloaking, hidden text, etc etc. By doc links I assume you mean links to things that discuss specifics - these are few and far between. People rarely talk about specifics of BH techniques openly, for obvious reasons (once widely known they tend to stop working). So I'm afraid you'll have to do your own research on this side of things. If you are a newbie to SEO, then learn the WH (white hat) stuff before looking into stuff that can get your site banned in less time than it took you to build it.
wow JL... 20k pages indexed is definitely a good feat... just using my tricks i managed to get 15 pages indexed in the past 2 weeks,,, I need more..lol Not to interested in getting a site banned,, and the BH techniques I have seen are to close to borderline Banning for me... If you want to get my site indexed quickly let me know,,,lol,,, will pay ---------------------------- I recently had a site go from 500 pages indexed in G,, then the site was crawled why my shitty hosting company's SQL server was down,, and now it only has 17 pages indexed.... Google hasnt sent a deepcrawl my way since the server went down... and that was on the 7th or 8th,,,, I need my padges back in google..still have 800-1400 in Y and MSN... Any ideas why the delay or how long it normally takes for the pages to be reindexed? Not trying to hijack the thread,,lol
Now I've never managed to work out what gets a site banned but I believe it is mainly down to the content - not how it gets indexed. One of the BH techniques that interest me is something called blog and ping - I don't really consider it a BH technique personally. I already have numerous blogs - and yes, they are genuine blogs - each one based on something that interests me. I don't personally believe that G like sites that cover numerous topics, so I built one blog per topic. I post to the blogs regularly (once or twice per day) with articles that are of interest, news items that are interesting or simply my own views. On each of these posts I add a link to one of my sitemaps - this is purely for indexing purposes. When it comes to links for indexing, links from any site will do - there is no way a bot can know if it's a relevant link until they've indexed the site/page . With this method I normally have a site indexed within 2 weeks. For the 20K index, I thought wtf and just setup shed loads of blogs (on my own servers) and just blogged the sitemap links for that site - absolutely no other content what so ever. The bots ate the links like there was no tomorrow and the site was indexed in no time. This was primarily an experiment - people had told me it worked and I didn't believe them. Safe to say it worked. I wouldn't like to do it too often though - I'd imagine that the blog domain could be banned pdq. Also you'd be likely to get the ip address of the server banned from the ping services.
yeah i have a sitemap and it is being crawled everyday! My problem is , is that the pages that were indexed previously before the sql server went down, they havent been put back in the index.... this is whats concerning... The site like i probably mentioned before is not been banned,,, which was my first thought.... but the site is still in google with page rank etc etc... but the pages since the bad crawl on the down server are gone.. I dont have any idea of how long it takes to have them put back in the G Index.. I have a lot of PR sites linking to this site to help the crawl and index,, but the site is getting crawled but it is only the freshbot crawling it,, not the deepbot, So my question is twofold... How long should it take to get the pages reindexed ( has been since the 7th or 8th of the month)? And how come I created a new site on the 12th and it already has 40 pages indexed in G? Seems like the old site would have atleast that many pages indexed seeing how it is an older site. But yet no new pages indexed and the site i put online on the 12th has triple the pages of my old one.. Just seems like if G was updating there index,, why would one site that is newer than the old one get more pages indexed in a shorter period of time? The old site is at 17 and the new site which was submitted to G 4 days after the G Crawl / Sql Error fiasco.... just dont make since how the one site can get its pages indexed but yet the site that had hundreds isnt even moving,,, Sorry about the ramble,,, this shit is just not making much since to me... went from hundreds of pages to 17 and almost 3 weeks later it is still at 17.. but yet a new site is getting its pages indexed
