Selling Neglected Blog with Traffic (Site 2)

    Hi all,

I am going to sell most of my websites. These are quality sites that I've never had time to do what I should with them. All of them have made a little bit of money in the past, but I've neglected them while working a couple of my large sites. Each one can make very good money if someone will take the time with them.

    Site 2

    Site: LongBlog.com

Domain: GoDaddy - 05/25/2010 (almost 5 year old domain!)
    Type of Site: General Blog

Traffic: About 300 uniques per month. Used to get more when I did free advertising for it. Still gets a crazy amount of traffic related to Brock Lesnar (UFC Heavyweight Champion). 239 Google search referrals this month alone of the term Brock Lesnar. 654 last month. He fights again in January, so the new owner should be ready to get some big traffic by then.

Income: Assume no income, although it does make some small google income because people think the top ads are a menu for the site.

    Info:

This is a custom WP layout with Yahoo News, Amazon, Adsense and more. Nobody else has this design. You will have to sign up for Amazon to be able to make commissions from the right side Amazon area.

Every post on the site is 100% unique and written by me (except if I linked to a video in the post, then the video is obviously not unique to my site). As I mentioned, I have not taken care of this site and I think my last post was in August when I posted a Guitar Hero clip and traffic sky rocketed. I still get notes about some of my articles including one about the USPS and another about mis-spelled words.

If you know how to move wordpress websites and all the files you are welcome to do so. If you do not know how or don't want to, hosting will be $2.00 per month on my server (Cpanel).

    Starting Bid - $5
    Payment Type - Paypal

Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!

I have seen that there are 10 items that flash up on Copyscape, and i fail to see the reasoning for the Brock Lesnar traffic coming to the site?

Please explain so i can understand better.

I'm really not sure about the Brock Lesnar traffic. I can show you the google results for every month. Like I said, it's crazy.

On the Copyscape issue, I just checked it out. All 10 are relating to the Guitar Hero post and none of them are showing as being real copies. Click on each link and view the hi-lited text. It's just some of the same words being used. If you look at my post and compare to the copyscape items it's easy to see they are not even close to the same.

EDIT: I just found out what it is. My yahoo news at the bottom of the page is running the same news feed as some other sites. It's not my article, it's the current news that is automatically used when a new post is created.

Do you have google analytics? I see that traffic jumped in October, any reason?

It was over 600 clicks from Yahoo on Brock Lesnar. As I mentioned, I don't know why or how. This auction ends in 10 minutes, so I don't have time to go into analytics.
