I think everyone would agree that people as well as mods, here at DP, are annoyed by scammers and scam threads. It also eats up a lot of otherwise utility time which could be spent on other constructive work. This is also eating on reputation of DP which is not good for members.

I suggest that a seperate forum be created for scammers as well as for help on rules compliance.

Many people are not vigilant (it is also due to individual capabilities and level of IQ) towards doing a BG check on people. Many people just don't have time or are not conecerned about it.

It may not concern them but at the end people who are innocent pay for it.

Knowledgable and responsible people make a better community and not rules and policing.

Taking into consideration the exceptional attractiveness and popularity, people will keep coming for a quick buck or some "great" service being provided here.

I suggest let people help people. This can be done if a seperate forum is created keeping the rest of the forum clean.

It might be none of DP's business but it is in the intrest of DP as well as its members.

I am very sure that this way people will pay more attention to the rules and be careful in their transactions, here at DP.

    Cheers :)

I think it's been suggested (and rejected) before. What would happen would be that as soon as a deal went bad, instead of working to resolve it people would jump straight to the threat to 'add them to the scammer forum', and that would just be for the genuine deals.

Then there would be people adding other people because they once posted something they didn't like and were holding a grudge about. Best of all, no-one would read it beforehand anyway! Let's face it, if they don't apply due diligence just now there's little chance of them doing so with a new forum.

I see where you're coming from with it but I think it would create more problems than it solved.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's good to know people try to come up with ways to improve the community for everyone. :)
