Negative Meta Tags

Can frequently changes in meta tags effect negatively to my site ranking.

I don't think so that it should be. but why you want to change them always. maintain them properly based on the theme/services of the particular web page you have

In my own experiences, tweaking title tags and meta description tags would be a general job for all SEOers. If you could do this on the right direction according to the keyword changing, it would be really helpful for ranking purpose, IMO.

Well if you keep changing you meta tags frequently then how is SEs going to analyze and co-relate ur website and associate it to your theme/services. You can do tweaks in your metas after analyzing the performance of your keywords quaterly. But don't do it too frequently...

 

Yes, dear. I have lost my site ranking, somebody suggested me for change meta tags withing 2 or 3 days but I got negative results. I suggest to all seo guys about meta tags update. Site meta tags should change one time in month only.

I don't think its a negative effect to change the meta tag of your site. but give a some time to between the meta tag changes.

Updating meta tags is helpful for a website ranking if it on right direction, otherwise it may harm your ranking on SERP

 

I advice against frequently updating your meta tags for example meta description. I would only change my meta description if I think it would be more relevant to my site and therfor increase my CTR from the SERPs.

If you maybe are thinking about having some script frequently updating your Meta data I strongly advice against that.

 

The meta tags only should be changes it the keyword your are targeting gone changes. For example if your are targeting a keyword website designing company instead of web design company due to high competition of web design company and after getting the worth of website now you want to focus web design company then you can should change meta tags according to that other wise updation in meta tags can be harmful for your website.

Yes the frequent changes to your meta tags may lose your websites ranking.
Therefore its better to remain them as they are.
