Negative iTrader removal request!!!

I got a negative itrader from a buyer all of a sudden because he thought that his link was removed from the website and he paid for 1 year...before i got anything to say the negative itrader was already added...
i asked him for his paypal email to check it and indeed the link was supposed to be deleted because he paid only for 3 months...i showed a screenshot of that to him and he said..."sorry"...i have a lot of proofs like pms and payment transaction to show you that i am right..he also admitted himself.

Unfortunate though it is mods don't change or remove itraders, only admins have the ability to do so I beleive.

For the benifit of the person who left you the itrader always make sure the - itrader is warranted before you leave it, don't be so quick to leave a negative quite often there is an inocent reason for something they think has gone wrong as i've seen all too often here.

It can't be undone unless no deal has been done as far as i'm aware

 

very nice...a mod can ban a user but can't delete an itrader...way to go

 

not my fault lol, just the way it is like I said just tell your client to double check before leaving itrader.

yes i know it's not your fault...i wish i would of read your don't get scammed post from the signature before...anyway will see how the problem is treated....pressing a button and leaving a negative itrader can ruin most people business around here...and someone may do that on purpose

Ask him to leave a positive itrade and leave a comment why he is leaving the negative so that people checking ur itrade see it.. But you can also ask mod if that is allowed since u are not allowed to give multiple itrade

 

It is just a few lines of code to edit itrader hack and grant "remove" feature to trader givers. Most boards are stuck with the limits of this hack since they can't change it themselves but I'm surprised a huge webadmin community like dp can't implement such a easy function.

 

If you engaged in a transaction / deal here, both parties can leave whatever iTrader they want. We do not change or remove iTrader just because someone didn't think before posting, or because a situation later changed. This is why we repeatedly have said here that no one should leave iTrader of any kind until they're absolutely certain the situation can't be fixed (if negative) or can't be reversed (if positive - such as leaving positive only to have a chargeback).

And no... don't ask him to do that. If he leaves two iTraders for the same deal, he'll risk getting banned for abusing the system.

 

Sometimes it makes more sense to remove the member than to remove the itrader.
