Just see if this could turn into an interesting discussion :)

What would be the negative impacts of outsourcing? (online jobs such as... website & graphics designs).

    MY list is:
    - Lowering the standard price for this industry (website & graphics design) because we have to complete with very low prices
    - People who are being used for outsourcing get paid less.... (educated people, people with skills should be paid more). Does anyone have an actual price?

    Anything else? :)

the price is not a big deal, the $ dropped about 20% against the INR, otherwise i could have provided more cheap rates!!

people in amarica are getting job less, because indian's are working for cheaper rates in the bpo, this was in news sometime back, and it can be cause of worry!

As a fellow Canadian all I can say is that 10$ here isn't 10$ overseas, so I think it's win win most of the time.

One downfall is loss of control over some aspects of the project, but that is inevitable whenever you don't do everything yourself.
