    Hello on paypal there has been a dispute and has been escalated to paypal. I owe £10 to the scammer. If i dontc pay this back what will happen to me? Will debt colletors get involved?

    For £10 not worth to stain your records with Paypal. Maybe treat this as a lesson learned? I doubt debt collectors will be involve though

    bad credit is still bad credit, not sure what treshold paypal uses to send
    you to a debt collector, if so, then it will be a mark on your credit report...

    This is not the road you want to take...
    It is easy to mess up your credit, and it
    can take years to get your credit fixed....

    You want to mess up your credit/paypal account over pride?

    Pay the damn £10 and move on....

    Every business runs the risk of bad debt, shoplifting or some other sort of theft. Factor this into your prices & learn how to minimise the risk.

    Pay the 10 quid and move on.

    You do not have a "credit account" with paypal unless you've taken their credit card options. A negative balance will sit there for a few weeks before paypal chase you down for it. They can then send it to debt collectors who may be able to mark your credit record. However, if you don't have credit with paypal they cannot mark your credit file it will be debt collectors who do.

    However, for the sake of £10 I'm not sure what paypal will do but it's probably just worth paying it so that paypal dont scrutinise every transaction you have and cause you withdrawl issues in the future.

    I hope OP is ok, he hasn't come back since starting the thread and I'm growing concerned that he may have tried to sell his body to cover this debt.

    Well, in fairness, his weekly allowance is probably only a fifth of the total amount, so desperate actions may be his only option. ;)
