Hey, So I used to own a popular Minecraft server (Gaming server), I would receive roughly £1,000GBP in donations a week, but I would have to refund around £300 in disputes, all the disputes would be charge backs in the form of "Unauthorized payment". As The product I was selling was purely virtual I had no buyer protection, and PayPal instantly refunded them there money I didn't get a chance to even respond to the dispute. When I spoke to PayPal on the phone they said because it was virtual goods they required no further information from me, but when I said so, you automatically refund any charge back for virtual goods they said no... Fun Fact - I have had 318 disputes, 276 unauthorized charge backs I never won a single one.. My question to you guys is, I closed down my server and I'm negative -£3000GBP in PayPal, these are from a number of charge backs all claiming "Unauthorized payment". I removed my debit card, and confirmed bank before I closed my server so they wouldn't take the money without my permission. Are they likely to chase me for the £3,000GBP, as it isn't owed to a single individual but rather around 28, from all over the world, I didn't see it as an issue. Note - I'm not trying to run off with money almost all the disputes are from kids, who just know they can get a refund and there's nothing I can do. They have all had there permissions and ranks for over 2 months...
Well onething i want to make clear, that paypal will not chase as they don't give any refund back till you authorized it. AS all payments are just hold not refunded.
