Negative AdSense Balance?

Just logged in to AdSense today to find a negative "current balance" of -$0.10. Does anyone know why this might be?

 

Yes, sometimes they refund clicks to the advertiser.
For example: When some dude starts clicking several links with a bot, they *might* refund the clicks.
If they do, they also substract it from your clicks ... I believe you should see this in the performance reports though

 

Honestly i´ve never heard of it before.... changing the value throughout the day yes, but negative balance.
We´re always learning!

 

It happened to me too in past, I guess that might be because of some invalid clicks activity.. but don't worry -$0.10 is nothing..

Interesting, I've been with adsense since 2005 and never had this negative balance issue.

 

Certainly 10 cents are pocket change but it's funny... You have to pay for those click deductions!!!

 

There might be the issue of invalid clicks but how come the balance gets Negative? If say 1$ is paid for clicks so only 1$ would be deducted for invalid clicks.......

 

Your reports are based on periods.
If the click happens in 1 period, it gets payed out ...
Then the invalid clicks are discovered & deducted in the next period ...

So you have once +$1 and once -$1.

 

Oh yes it is also possible, Now only the OP can tell now whether it was new account or he has been paid in the past.

 

I've had this account for many years and, yes, I've been paid.

The negative balance seemed to resolve when the next month arrived.

 

It is the home page only that shows this problem, your earning will not be affected .

Just got over -$100.... Most we have these issue.

Is this new system from adsense, never get this before

 

Its a known bug and not a problem; not sure if fixed yet, but it does not affect your earnings.

 

This just showed up on my adsense console, negative current balance... but when I look at payments it shows the same amount positive.
