Neep Help on VNC

    Hi all,

    I installed vnc and gnome on my vps but when I try to login through my pc using vnc viewer I get

    Connection refused (10061)

    Any help guys :confused:

    NEI (not enough information).

    Did you start the service?

    If so: What flavor of VNC? What OS? How did you install? (e.g., yum, rpm?) Are you running iptables?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Yes I did start the service


    [root@server csf]# rpm -q vnc-server
    vnc-server-4.1.2-14.el5_6.6

    OS is centos 5.8 32 bit

    Yes Iptables running but I tried stopping iptables and even opened the ports too but didnt work

    What output do you see when you start the vnc server? Also, anything in the vnc log?
