I never rely on alexa. ... if you are getting traffic as usual then it does not matter.. Is your real traffic decreasing?
Alax is depend on Traffic if you are getting less traffic compare then your competator your rank will go down it';s normal some time it;s goes down some time up
yes Alexa is depands on your website traffic, Alexa rank can be up and down because of your website traffic
If alexa rank is decreasing (in number, say from 80K to 50K ) then it is a good sign. It is reflection of increased traffic. and if your meaning is else, then it must be due to drop in traffic. Analyze your traffic and reasons of drop in it.
Alexa does rely on your traffic amount to display their ranking. This kind of ranking should be used for illustrate and estimate purpose only. It cannot be your data sources because it does not accurate overall. Alexa can count only with people who installed Alexa toolbars on their browser. There are "a lot" of peoples never heard or used Alexa toolbar. Alexa data cannot be used to define both Positive or Negative effect in SEO point of view either.

I will repeat a lower alexa rank is better because it is rank ( 1 is best. 2 is second best ) moreover it has no seo concern. but good alexa provides value to your website because it reflects high traffic on your website.
Don’t worry about this. It’s good only.Alexa rank means showing your site grade. When alexa rank getting down, then only you will get page rank and also visitors to your site.
If your website is decreasing day by day then it is not good for your website, because your website are losing importance among different search engines.
