I am planning to buy http://www.worldonews.com site. Now one of my friend is running this one but he want to sale it.
Last night he massage me that he want to sale this website. I open this link it has page rank 1 but alexa rank does not show.
I analyses this sites and observe that site need to me fixed by design and data.
If I change it's template, does google will change the page rank?

Templates don't matter to much. Don't get me wrong a nice looking site keeps your visitors, but it's all about content. Content is what search engines love. Unique quality content.

In order to increase the PR you need links from sites with high PR. There are charts out there that will show you how many links you need at specific PR levels to get to a specific PR level (like http://curiouslittleperson.com/backlinks-for-google-pagerank/). Generally speaking a high PR link will bring your PR of 2 less. So a PR 6 backlink will make your site a PR4. However, this only occurs when Google updates the TBPR (toolbar pagerank). Which occurs whenever Google wants (generally every 4 months or so). Also, I wouldnt put a lot of weight in PR. You would be better off looking at the PA, DA and moztrust from opensiteexplorer.com unless you plan on selling backlinks. Some people that buy backlinks still like using PR as a measure...
