Need your suggestion to promote social networking site.

Hi Friends,

We developing a social networking site from past 3 years and we launched site on last year November as beta version. Still we are in beta version. We are expecting in next 2 months we may complete our 60% development. This 60% closer to almost 80-90% features of facebook. We are giving many advanced features (Approx 6+ unique features) that not included in facebook and even google+.

Now we are looking to promote our site, I request you can you please share your ideas or suggestions to get more traffic.

What is your budget for advertising ?

 

For now approx $6000 to $8000. We are looking for venture capitals if they agreed with us we can spend much more.

 

Good Press Release and email marketing would help more ,I guess.

Traffic exchanges will help your site become known but you need a good anti-virus. Article marketing is on crisis right now, after the Google changes.

You should create many Squidoo lenses and Hub pages to promote your social networking site.

Participate of Yahoo Answers and Quora. They will help you get traffic too.
