I've spent some time today with PHPLD script and some how I manage to change it to work like a Link Bid directory.

Please take a look at: http://www.signitas.com

I need your suggestions to improve it.

    Thanks.

    That is wonderful! :)
Do you think you can make the code available to others?
(maybe you could even sell it)

I was not able to select a category. You should be able to bid AND select a category.

Categories can be selected at time of submitting new link/bid from "submit" link.

I advice you to do something new (other than that of PHPLB ) and innovative.

I clicked the bid button from the homepage and there was not a place to enter my info, only submit payment. That is why I asked.

This was the very thing I was thinking about 3 months ago. Great job. If this becomes an official script, I am interested in buying it ;)

Actually that button was for the current link owner to increase thier bid. To fix it I have added an extra link there. First one is to increase current bid and other one is to place new bid.

Waoo .. Thats a nice idea. I think you need a bit of tweak to the current model.

    1) Remove "Reciprocal Link URL" as I don't see any use of it.
    2) Don't you think "Place Bid" is an "extra" with each listing. I mean there should only be "Bid ++" to add $$ to the bid.

Over all, I really like it. :)
Is it too much of a change or some easy modification ??
