Hi, I launched a tech review website Techkudos.com Its in alpha stage so review on the layout, the design and the logo.I accept all your comments. Thanks
I specified clearly in my description as the site is in alpha stage and comment only on the design, layout and the logo.Anyway thanks for your review.
Overall, the layout is good and the site looks professionally done. However, I'm not that crazy about the colour scheme. There are too many colours: blue, black, yellow, green, white, orange, and some of them don't look good together. Perhaps you could stick to 3 colours that compliment each other well, but use more than one shade of the same colour so the site doesn't look too bland. For example, choose grey, blue and white to be the main colours, but use dark blue and light blue for different areas, and dark grey and light grey as well. Facebook uses white and blue (with several shades of blue) and manages to not look bland. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but I also dislike the dark background. I have a strong suspicion that having a light background is beneficial for websites; I can't help but notice that almost all of the best sites out there have a white/light background. (Facebook, Google, Youtube...)
First i thank you for taking more time to review my website.I accept your comment about the colors. But why i kept many colors because it will make difference between each blocks. About the black background i thought of doing like cnet and gamespot.com but everyone has their own taste.I think the black background would highlight the main layout.
That's a good site. Also yeah, I agree on the background. This is a tech site and white is good for reading. Check techcrunch for instance. Also put the social icons up a little because this is something people should see almost at the same time the open your site. Logo should be bigger.
