Need your opinion on changing my current website from .html to .php.

    I have a website that I made over 5 years ago in html. I wanted to change it over to Joomla. The only problem I have is that I don’t want to lose my ranking in the search engines. Anyone have any idea on what I can do? Or should I start another website and leave the old one alone:confused:

    what site/cms you referring ? better mention it.

    joomla gives permlink str so u can use that and retain the link str

    The site is just a basic html site I made with dreamweaver. I'm not using a cms right now but I want to convert the site to Joomla.
