I am selling 5 years online and the only way to have high conversion (adwords search ads) rate is selling cheap and selling it fast (marketing) Any opinions? It would really help to discuss this issue
Selling online is no different than selling in the offline world. You need to advertise and that means properly targeting your prospects. Then, your landing page has to close the sale. It's not the cheapest that always gets the sale. Just like in the offline world, it's showing your product has more value than the competitor and fills the need of the buyer.
Hello, I think will be better to increase your site traffic! Very important to use a good adversiting and blogging! Also, very important to use all new methods in selling! That is why, I want to advice using social network for this! Good luck)
Unfortunately i am living in a country with big economic crisis, the only thing the buy online is when they see huge discounts - this is how the market works unfortunately , but selling with 30% - 40% discounts is not good
Why don't you target your own customer's again and again? Tryout marketing automation tools and set up lead nurturing strategies, which can help your visitors and current customers to purchase products again and again. It will definitely improve our return on investment. Try Firecart for marketing automation its free for 30 Days, you can experiment with your marketing strategies by creating workflows. They offer features like email marketing, referral marketing, abandonment cart emails, product replenishment emails, exit intent popup, time tracking pop-up and more. I hope this helps.
If you live by the discount, you'll die by the discount. In other words, if you build a clientele where you set the precedent that you are cheap(er), once you raise prices, they'll abandon you. I unfortunately see this in freelancing sites all the time. I see service providers with a certain minimum hourly rate but take jobs at 25% to 50% below that rate. Sure, they get a job but usually for a short time because the buyer is not willing to pay for the real value of the service. So the buyer goes from cheap provider to cheap provider. In the meantime, the provider spends more time to find other jobs. Buyers see their rate but can also see the actual rate they have charged. So either they question it and choose another one because of the perceived value or try to get the provider to lower his price. That's not a good cycle for the provider who eventually loses and must drop his price. It's the same for any product. You have to show that you have value. You still have to make a living too. So if you need to sell at $10, don't discount it to $9.
Have you ever looked into facebook bro, in my opinion depending on the product you can build a fan page, page, group . You then advertise for likes and you advertise directing people to your site. It is a fantastic way to keep customers engaged. Look i don't know what you are selling i wish people would give out that kind of information because its like crawling in the dark without it. Google i find is generally low quality traffic. Traffic that has a look and doesn't buy. obviously it depends on your market so i am not google is rubbish.
I suppose you have some strong base of clients who like to buy cheap stuff over the 5 years. Why not try to lean on them a bit? People above already suggested creating your own fan page on Facebook, maybe try to retarget on them more based on ID's. I mean, you know what you can sell cheap. Not try to get to know people who buy cheap. Then what you're doing will look less like a race and more like a established business.
I think you should combine some more other online tools such as Facebook, Twitter, SEO + website,... rather focus only on Google search ads. Don't depend all on GG Adwords. Especially running long term, do SEO for your website is a must.
There are no. of platform to advertise online. I am using Yahoo Native Ads, Facebook Ads, Google display (with Remarketing), if your product targeting is from UK you can use the Bing ad also (Bing is most useable search engine in UK). But in my point, if you use Yahoo Native Ads and Google Display Remarketing it will definitely give you greater ROI. For branding purpose you can use YouTube ads also.
I think Youtube ads native is very expensive, not every small or medium advertiser can do that. The another way is we can use Google GDN with target on Youtube website only. This way can help your ads appear on Youtube also.
