Yellow is a very bad color for background, you should use orange. And the black margins of the container are awful. You should a color close to the background.

I would research at least a dozen other good sites about hair and nails and copy the best features that you like

I would also suggest another color scheme, maybe indeed a more orangy tint for the container and a more nuetral grey or lighter yellow for the surrounding background.

    Good luck designing!

Why not use orange, instead of green or yellow, would fall well!

Why can I only see the header? Anyway, from what I see, it looks much better, more sharp, better colour etc. Maybe add some touches to the text in the logo?

yea, prolly, but the question is what to add. I don't want to overdo it to much and clutter the page.
