Can I get some of you nice people to do a search for a key word phase, and where my website is located, maybe in the first three pages of Google?I want to check for the keywords, House painter Portland,OR My website:www.johnhowellconstruction.com Trying to find out where I come up on Google just in the next city over. Also do any of you know how you can do a search on Google but say from a different place in USA or different ip address?
Checking multiple datacenters at once is against Google TOS(food for thought) so you don't want to do it very often. You can however use this tool to do so... http://www.searchenginegenie.com/data/index.htm I show you 2nd on page 3 --- if you use painters instead of painter, you are 3rd on page 2. That said, I just checked the adwords tool and that term is getting searched for about 50 times a month tops so I would not worry too much about it. Your best bet in that demographic is to find folks buying property, property management companies, and realtors. hope that helps, Nigel
Good site but I wouldn't worry about ranking in other countries to much when your company seems nationwide rather than worldwide, normally when I have made websites for business in the past I focus on SEO'ing the site for their local search engine and purchase a domain name relating to the country I.e UK = .co.uk Hope this helps.
Use the Google adword keyword tool https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool You can search as if from a different country or even a specific US city.
