I have a intertainment forum and i am add my forum lot of search engine,sitemap,search engine bot,seo etc yesterday my absolutely visitor was 3,777 now my unique visitor is 3,734 before total page view is 28,815 now 28,515 why day by day its going down??whats worng?will u help me please. Note:when i am add it sitemap,search engine bot,seo that time day by day its going down.
Please don't get worried by day-to-day numbers, the best use of google analytics is for identifying and analysing longer trends - like a week or 15 days or a month.. only when you compare these larger durations you will correctly know what is wrong with the traffic.... but if you sitll want to take the dive here is what you should do; 1. Open the "Alll traffic sources" report and then click on "show" >> and select "Medium" (this will be just below the big graph on the right) 2. The report will now show the 'Mediums' that the visitors used to arrive at your website.. now compare the same report for different dates and you will know who is sending you lesser traffic and optimise your efforts accordingly but again.... I would strongly recommend not looking at daily numbers to arrive at any outcome...
