Need YOUR expert advice

I need advice.

I just started a forum. Its been my dream for the past 4 years or so but I never could manage to set it up! I finally managed however Im finding it close to impossible to get people to signup and post.

I started a competition in the services section offering free links for top posters, yet I got only 2 people to signup (and I have 3 prizes on offer!!!!).

I dont wish to pay to post....i would only use that as a last resort since Im a bit wary of the service.

Anyone has any idea how I could get more people to join?

you can even try to post some ads and write helpful articles related to acne forum.

try joining different forums as well, in that case , you can also learn a lot from it.
