I am about to start a membership site which has recurring payments system with verisign (amember). this system might not be the best option, but its what i am familiar with. The main problem with it is that it holds credit card numbers in its database, therefore amember has to be secured. what i want to ask you about is about SSL and hosting. I am currently using Hostgator and they offer $75 per SSL plus $2 per month for dedicated IP address. are there any cheaper hosting services that are good and reliable that will be able to give me HTTPS type of URL for credit card collection page? perhaps you know a better membership system that has recurring payments system and is secure. thanks for your help
