I have put an about the author section with a link to my home page on my articles on my site for a while not. I was hoping that would make it so website builders could copy my article and post the about the author on their site with my article but I have been rethinking this. I have no idea if anyone has copied my articles and given me a link back to my site by posting the about the about the author segment or not. Another thing I have thought about is maybe this is not be needed to have an about the author segment on my articles since they are on my site. I would like you opinion on this.

I don't think, it' wise to put author's bio in your site's article section . If someone would copy your content and intended to give you a backlink then he/she can mention : written and distributed by yoursitename.com
