Need Wordpress expertise to optimize my sites performance

    My Wordpress sites' footprint (celeb site in sig) is like 1 megabyte. I need to reduce it down and get my site loading faster. I am willing to remove a few ads but also looking for hands-on work to get my site running better. Anyone out there that can help?
