Need Wordpress Expert to Upgrade WP Blog

I need someone who is very well versed in WP (installation, upgrading mysql databases, backup & recovery) to upgrade my blog. I am running at least 3 versions old (older than 2.3) and want to get it at least up to 2.3 or 2.5 which ever one is most stable. I also need some of my plugins updated to the latest version.

I do have some pretty old plugins, I know some need to be upgraded and some I probably won't be able to use with 2.3 and higher. I do have c-panel access etc.

Post here or PM me the cost and time you need to do this. I would like minimal downtime and I would like someone accessible on gtalk or via gmail. Thanks

    Erik

    The plugins arent an issue

If you installed each wordpress yourself, you should have no problems upgrading

Before you do anything, back up each database and all original files so that if anything happens you can revert to the original setup and start again.

Then you need to switch off all the plugins (ie. deactivate them)
Then simply upload the new files. I don't believe that there is anything more than that...how old are your installations. If they are 2.0+ you should be ok.

I think I am a little freaked out about the upgrade. Yes I installed it myself and added all the plugins. I think most of the problems I have had in the past is with plugins not working.

My big issue is the database part and having to reinstall it if something goes wrong as I have not done that before

If you are going to upgrade some plugins might not work, therefore you will have to deactivate them and the reactivate them one by one. If you find that something isn't working you need to deactivate them all and reactivate each plugin one by one.

With regards to the database, phpmyadmin isn't too hard to use. You should perhap read a tutorial on it so that you have a basic understanding of it :)
