    Hey guys,

I own a forum with around 21000 members. This is a dance forum which grew because of the massive amount of views that my dance videos were getting. One of my videos has 6 million views, while others have around 1 million and half a million views.

Youtube, however, (according to Google Analytics) is not my primary source of traffic anymore. Apparently it now only makes up for around 10% of new traffic to the forum, while around 75% is direct and 13% is from search engines. This traffic that I get generates sales of clothing which I personally sell on the site.

Anyway.... I have recently been offered over $900USD for my youtube account and am wondering whether or not I should take it. I am just worried that I will not get as many people to the site, that I will not be able to raise another Youtube account, and that members will stop purchasing clothing.

I've had this idea that my entire site revolves around my videos on youtube...However it could just be me viewing it from a weird perspective....I really need help with this decision. I can probably make more than $900USD in the long run...But if I don't need my youtube account to do it then I could really really benefit from this deal.

You shouldn't sell it if he asked 20 times that price. Set up adsense through youtube under Account-->more-->adsense settings. You should expect 3 digits per month at least, with those amounts of views.

$900 is a bit low. I wouldn't seel is as MarTh- already said.
By the way, I would be interested in advertising on your forum if your primary traffic comes from the US.
Can you PM me more info about your site and how much you would charge.

$900 is way way too low... you should definitely try to monetize it yourself. Adsense or CPA ads etc.
