How many products are you looking at? Number of products and whether I need to get the graphics myself, or if you have them already is a big factor.

I generally charge from $500-900 for an e-comm store.

Can I send you a PM for the portfolio (as I've got some work in progress you can view as well)

that is way out of my range for design, unless you include database.

but anyway i will have lots of products, so i will only put samples on website and rest on online gallery

Won't you need a shopping cart? Secure payments, merchant account and so on?
Someone would need to know what shopping cart you are using in order to know the extent of template development.

Awesome swords! I could spend a fortune there :)

If you are looking for a cart check out zencart or oscommerce, they are free.

Another suggestion, go to templatemonster.com and view their templates for some ideas.
I'm not saying buy, but just for ideas.

    Good luck and be careful.

Hence why the price of this is going to be "High" he's gonna need a shopping cart of some sort. Then need it customized to suit his needs. but, maybe I'm wrong about the whole thing.

I personally use AgoraCart, which is also free, open source, with tons of add-ons hacks and mods. I've been using it for years, so I know quite a bit about working it into a good template.

    thanks HCG :)
actually i am not entirely experienced... well basicly noobie!!

i know the carts, my host offers them, i tinkered a bit with oscommerce but didn't reach much, now i don't have the time to check much so thought i take the expensive but quick road

thanks about the swords btw, there are many things not on the page yet, sometime soon hopefuly tho
and they are not as expensive as u think ;)

and yeah i checked template monster too but while ago, has some cool designs, but at the time i was looking for none e-commerce ones. i guess i'll check again and see.

at first i will be only using western union, bank transfer and paypal, stuff than can be used manually, so don't need the actual check out much, but as i heard checkout would be merged in the whole commerce package, like if i just get rid of checkout i will get rid of the cart itself (so basicly customers won't be able to group the products nor will i be able to see them)

i guess mostly the databse part is the trick now, editing templates own't be THAT hard i guess
    thanks again :)
