Need Very Urgent Advice!

    hi,

    I have made three new sites. One is a free advertising website, one is an article sharing website and the third is a programs and sites directory. Now, I am thinking about the two options for the following two things (posts & comments);

    1) Only registered users are allowed to submit articles, ads and sites (Moderation required).

    2) Both registered users and guests are allowed to submit the above (Moderation required).

    and

    1) Only registered users are allowed to post comments (Moderation required).

    2) Both registered users and guests are allowed to submit the above (Moderation required).

    Please advise me what should I do from the above options.

    Allow guests to submit anything and you should fix your script if you receive too many spams.

    Well,momi,I think you'd better support: 1.only registered users are allowed to submit articles,ads and sites;
    2.both registered users and guests are allowed to submit the above.What's more,pay more attention to the
    spam and that will affect the image of your website.

    Make it open to all with moderation.

    But having a membership has other advantages. you will end up with a strong member base.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I have full control over these features and I can change these at any time. So, I thought that in the begining, I should open these to all and then restrict to members if I start getting too much SPAM in the future.

    Open them to all visitors initially. After getting proper traffic, you can close them to the guests and ask them to register to post the articles.

    Hello all, In my opinion Following points you should use and Follow the high pr article site etc.
    1) Only registered users are allowed to post comments
    2) Both registered users and guests are allowed to submit the above.

    I think only register user can submit and post article, comments,ads,...but guest only make comments. pay attention to the spam, more strictly, invite them to be a member.
