Need VBulletin Mod suggestions

    Hi guys,

    Please don't think i am lazy here. I have searched around and can't find exactly what I want and was hoping that someone here might have some experience in this and save me some time.

    I want to be able to add on a feature that allows members to earn points per post, per thread - and earn more depending on the length of their post. I have heard this is possible but wasn't sure about the best way to do this.

    Once members have these points, I want them to be able to trade them with me for traffic to their websites.

    Is there a simplish way of accomplishing this?

    vbplaza works good for what you are trying to accomplish.

    You can also try icash and double it up with vbplaza.....


    icash is what I have installed, but not running at the moment.

    but it is customizable to the specifications you asked..

    hmm, was gonna install vbplaza - but found this note on the vbulletin forum:

    vbBux / vbPlaza is currently not available for download from the vBorg website. In February 2007, vBorg staff was notified of a potential XSS vulnerability in the vbBux / vbPlaza modification. We confirmed the exploit, along with additional exploits in varying degrees, and removed access to the original modification. A "fix" was then provided in April 2007, but as vBorg staff confirmed that the exploits were not corrected, access to the "fixed" modification was also removed. Read this for information on how vBorg staff handles exploitable modifications. Further, vBorg staff does not know when a correctly fixed version will be released. Read this and this for further information from the original author of the vbBux / vbPlaza modification. As previously stated, it is HIGHLY recommended that you disable/uninstall the vbBux / vbPlaza modification until a true fix is provided. Uninstall instructions can be found in this thread.
