Yes, We require a single page to be designed using HTML/CSS only. We will show a rough image of what we are looking for. Based on that, the designer has to - - * Design the page completely using HTML/CSS * No Images, No Tables, No Frames * Also CSS Buttons HAVE to be incorporated on the page - In short, you must be very well versed in CSS/HTML to bring the design on our mind into shape.(Need not worry the design is very simple only) - If you are one CSS designer ,PM me with few of your CSS/HTML previous works & we will send the sketch of the design.
No Images ???? How can you accomplish a good design without images?? HTML/CSS don't support transparency at all... forget about a linear blend of two colors....
@shantanuthatte there are good design without image, dude maybe you should put yourself out of your own box man! are you sure that css doesn't support transparency ?
So how can you achieve curves? Evn a straight line box like look (smth like DP itself) will require repeated lines and borders. As transparency is concerned. It is directly supported by CSS3. And IE and FF have different implementations for older versions. Thus makin a all browser compatible site without ruining the look will require browser's meta data to be identified and HTML re-written using a JS or Server sided script for proper browser... but still there are good designs without images. (eg Google) simplistic and elegant, low on b/w etc etc but still the way internet is evolving and increased global connection speed, throwing a few images in the bg will make it look good, even if its a 1x10 px bg image to be repeated horizontally..... I don't wanna fight... srry if it looked like offensive...
