Hey, I am located in Israel and i have an account with E*Trade, they have 1 year free and then 40$ per 3 month, i don't like this deal. do you know any other bank in the USA, which has only opening fees for the account without a "support fees"? I am also interested in such bank who has a branch in Israel, i am opened to suggestions... anyone? Tnx a lot.
wrong... i used etrade for about 8 month and didn't buy any stockes... they charge a service fee of 40$ per 3 month after 1 year of use. so if u buy stocks u don't pay that fee.... i need a US bank account (even without a branch here) that can accept no SSN applications and forigen users, who has low fees and only 1 time fee... i heard once of a bank called square or something....
I can surely open one for a fee it would be under my name. All banks require ssn and you can push the money..into the account via paypal and you would have a card you could use to make purchases and such
Don't you think that would be a bit dodgy?? Offering to open a bank account for someone else. Note that all income going into that account will leave you liable for tax etc. I wanted to open a US bank account too. (I'm in the UK) The only way I can do it now is to go to a branch in the US with my passport. I need to appear in person. It can no longer be done online since the security measures introduced after 9/11. A google search will show some companies that offer to open you a business account, (which is still possible) but it will cost in the region of 1 - 2 thousand bucks. It's much cheaper to fly to the US and open one yourself
well, money is money and i can invest it for making more money btw i opened Etrade online.... ok, i have a bank name called: HSBC it has a branch in israel, i donno how much fees it has. can some one tell me the difference between the account types? like brokerage (which i have) investing anc checking account...
