need urgent help

    hi there guys i'm having problems with a script it combines jvs with php the php part works well but the code breaks in IE, this is the problem javascrip:void(0)

    <a href=\"javascrip:void(0)\" onclick=\"window.open('$dir/$file','$dir/$file','height=380, width=300,scrollbars=no')\">

    can anyone help me pls
