You’re not alone. So many out there having the same problem. May be yahoo algorithm is different from Google, MSN etc. So many things involve to get in to the yahoo search result. You may try the followings:-
Try to check the keyword density of your targeted keywords. It should be 2%-4%
Use metatag, check keyword relevancy, write articles and submit to article directories
Submit site to yahoo directories, use yahoo services such as yahoo blog, yahoo answer…
Exchange link with other well ranked relevant sites, update with fresh unique content often.

I haven’t yet tried it but I heard that these work.

I dont think you should be concerned since google holds more visits than yahoo does. And its only a matter of time since yahoo starts reflecting the new page

Look guys she says she's fine in Google, so quit telling people to focus on Google! I made $200k last year just from Yahoo traffic.

I would make sure your homepage is listed as yours in Yahoo site explorer, and get a search submit basic membership ($49.95 / year)

That will get Yahoo's attention, and they will update weekly

After doing the proper redirects or when a new site has been launched and created, you need to be patient for some time before the search engines, including Yahoo begins crawling all your pages and renewing their indexing records.
